Something I've realized over the past two years is the importance of travel and experiencing new and far away places. I think it's a big part of growing up to be able to travel on your own agenda. It allows you to get out of your comfort zone and experience different cultures, view points, and scenery. This year has hardly started and I've already planned a number of trips that I'm beyond excited for. Aside from that, I have my whole life ahead of me and if I know one thing about myself its that I can't stay in one place for very long.
I wish I had been blogging sooner because I already have so many experiences under my belt. I went to San Diego and Phoenix over Christmas break, I've traveled to New England dozens of times and I've also been to Los Angeles, Baltimore, Nashville and too many other places to count.
The best part about going new places is being able to explore different food, music, art and people. Each place has it's own unique vibe and I want to feel them all. The world is an incredible place, and I constantly am becoming more interested in what it has to offer. So, I decided what better way to share my traveling adventures than on Eclectic Avenue through a series called Explorations, aptly named after my curious disposition about the world.
I've heard I have an exciting life, and to me that's a huge compliment because I live for excitement. I'm playing to my strengths, here and I know writing about my travels will only inspire me to do more of it. I hope you're ready for the trip of a lifetime (my lifetime, to be exact).
